Double Trouble

Hey Gent’s

This weekend was nothing but an amazing time; food, drinks, and style. Sunday, my best friends were married. So what do you think I wore? I sported a stylish lightweight baby blue double breasted suit, with a glen plaid attern and purple tie. I paired with a crisp white shirt that was perfect for summer days in the Chi. For me, putting this outfit together was simple, but guys always ask what should I wear to a wedding. I usually ask if it’s inside, outside, day or night. If it’s an outdoor wedding, I would suggest a light colored suit, like grey, tan, brown, or blue. But if it’s an indoor wedding, it’s probably air conditioned, so dark colors can be worn. But steer clear of black unless you’re in the bridal party.

In the Combatant Gentlemen blog post, I mentioned a company called Combatant Gentlemen. I discussed them when they had a wedding event. They have amazing suits and (100% Italian Super 140’s wool.) fabric and they’re all about the details – all the way down to the stitching and the fit. That’s what I wore this weekend a Double Breasted Suit finish with bold peak lapels. Double-breasted suit is always elegant and proper This is my first suit from them and it will not be my last. Check them out at combatantgentlemen.com. Hope you enjoy the look!
