When Packing for Business or Pleasure

Travel much? If you’re a beginner, or even an experienced traveler, packing last minute can be AVOIDED. I myself have learned the hard way. I know we all have so much going on in our daily lives and packing, well let’s be honestis extremely tedious. Packing the day of is the worst, and chances are you’re going to forget something (I hope you don’t forget your toothbrush). Last year, I had the pleasure of visiting New York to attend New York Fashion Week.  I made the mistake of waiting to the last minute to pack and I wound up only packing one pair of dress shoes. I walked everywhere that whole week in those dress shoes, and my feet hurt like hellreally wish I had taken the time to pack a pair of running shoes.

Let’s talk about over-packing. If you’re just bringing a carry-on for a 4-day trip, rolling up your clothes is your best option. If the hotel has an Iron, then youre all good.

Here’s how: Fold your pants in half so that the pockets are facing out, then tightly roll from the bottom up. For button-up shirts and blazers, neatly fold and place on top of the layer of rolled items.

Last bit of advice when traveling:  We strongly believe the level of comfort should be at an all-time high. Here are some of pictures of what I am packing for Mexico. It’s my best friend’s wedding, and I will be staying at the Ritz Resort in Acapulco. I hope you enjoy these tips and tricks. I will keep you updated on the Instagram account.
